Wells Fargo Center tomorrow, streaming live on WWE Network.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin

Breezango prepare to close the case at WWE Battleground

Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English (Kickoff Match)

At WWE Battleground, The Perfect 10 will once again attempt to topple The Drama King, when
Tye Dillinger battles Aiden English at WWE Battleground Kickoff, streaming live on the award-winning
WWE Network and on a free stream on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.
Dillinger has been on a roll as of late, not only fighting his way to the final three of the
special Independence Day Battle Royal on SmackDown LIVE, but also giving WWE Champion Jinder
Mahal a run for his money in a one-on-one blue brand contest on July 11. Like him or hate him,
English is as dangerous as he is emotional. Could Sunday be the day that The Artiste finally
brings the curtain down on Dillinger’s fairytale story?

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton (Punjabi Prison Match)

Brace yourself for the return of the daunting Punjabi Prison Match when Randy Orton looks for
retribution and his 14th World Title against WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at WWE Battleground.
At WWE Money in the Bank, Mahal’s faithful cohorts, The Singh Brothers, not only cost Orton his
chance to regain the WWE Title, but also attacked his father, WWE Hall of Famer “Cowboy” Bob Orton.
In response, one week after attacking Mahal, a still seething Orton opted to hold up the June 27
edition of SmackDown LIVE. Orton threatened the titleholder’s family and everybody else who would
dare to get in his way until he received another WWE Championship Match against The Modern-Day Maharaja.

John Cena vs. Rusev (Flag Match)

At WWE Battleground, John Cena will defend America’s honor when he goes to war against Rusev in a
Flag Match tonight.
Cena made his long-awaited SmackDown LIVE return on Independence Day to celebrate the birthday of
the good old red, white and blue in style. However, the 16-time World Champion was only seeing red
when Rusev suddenly barged into the mix to insult the USA in front of one of the most vigilant WWE
patriots and the WWE Universe.
While The Leader of the Cenation was ready to throw down right there and then, The Bulgarian Brute
made it clear he would battle on his terms at WWE Battleground. Cena was more than willing to oblige,
and the showdown was soon made official.
In this explosive Flag Match, the American and Bulgarian flags will be set above the turnbuckles on
opposite sides of the ring and the first Superstar to retrieve their country’s flag will be the winner.
Witness this patriotic showdown when WWE Battleground streams live, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT, on the
award-winning WWE Network.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day

It’s a new day, yes it is! For The New Day are getting a brand-spanking new opportunity to capture
The Usos’ SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WWE Battleground tonight.
At the height of their previous title showdown at WWE Money in the Bank, the resilient Kofi Kingston
& Big E looked incredibly strong against their tough Samoan adversaries. That was until Jimmy &
Jey Uso opted to take a walk and a count-out loss that saved their SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
But the “Power of Positivity” refuses to be denied, and the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in
WWE history are coming back for more! Can The Usos fend off their rejuvenated foes to maintain their
grasp on the gold? Or will Day One finally give way to a New Day?

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin has gone out of his way to show he isn’t afraid of Shinsuke Nakamura. At WWE Battleground,
that all might change.
Mr. Money in the Bank will do battle with The King of Strong Style on the SmackDown LIVE-exclusive
pay-per-view, bringing their frothing rivalry to a head after weeks of assaults by The Lone Wolf —
including one that nearly took Nakamura out of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match that Corbin eventually
won — and a retaliatory strike by Nakamura before what was scheduled to be their first-ever match on
SmackDown LIVE. When that sneak attack led to an all-out brawl between WWE’s Rockstar and Mr. Money
in the Bank, a contest between the two was instead sanctioned for WWE Battleground.
With months of bad blood and Corbin’s blatant disregard for his opponent, the two Superstars finally
have an opportunity to settle their differences, but don’t expect anything approaching civility in this
one. Fittingly enough for a battleground, expect something closer to an all-out war.

United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens

At WWE Battleground, a still-seething Kevin Owens will challenge United States Champion AJ Styles in
a rematch for the prestigious star-spangled title.
Up until recently, the WWE Universe was expecting the opposite, as Owens has maintained a firm grip
on the illustrious prize. But, in a stunning turn of events, The Phenomenal One dethroned The New Face
of America in a championship bout at a Live Event at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Prior to the electric title clash at MSG, Styles was the one chasing after the coveted championship,
having to earn No. 1 contender status by winning SmackDown LIVE’s Independence Day Battle Royal. But
the noteworthy night at The World’s Most Famous Arena completely shifted the balance of power.
Will Styles’ victory alter the way each Superstar approaches the United States Title showdown at the
July 23 pay-per-view?
With each Superstar claiming the blue brand as his show, the conflict between Styles and Owens has
become increasingly personal over recent weeks. And now, with Styles taking the United States Title
from The Prizefighter in a match that made waves throughout the WWE Universe, tensions are at an
all-time high in this red-hot rivalry.

Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Lana

(Five-Way Elimination Match to determine Naomi’s opponent at SummerSlam)
As the Women’s Evolution carries on, history is seemingly made on a weekly basis. At WWE Battleground,
yet another bit of history will be etched. Five of the top Superstars in the SmackDown LIVE Women’s
division will square off in a Five-Way Elimination Match, with the winner going on to SummerSlam to
challenge Naomi in the first-ever SmackDown Women’s Title Match in SummerSlam history.
Following the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match(es) and Naomi overcoming Lana in a series of
title contests, matters in the division needed to be reset. With so much talent surging and SummerSlam
on the horizon, SmackDown LIVE management decided that the fairest way to determine Naomi’s opponent
at SummerSlam would be to put five of the roster’s best on the Battleground (literally) and see who
prevailed.
Will Charlotte’s Flair big-match pedigree pay dividends as she continues her quest to become the
first Superstar in history to hold the Divas Championship as well as both the Raw and SmackDown
Women’s Titles? Or will Becky Lynch or Natalya be able to use their years of experience as to
elevate themselves toward SummerSlam glory? And will the seemingly brewing alliance between Tamina
and Lana play a factor in the contest?

Sami Zayn vs. Mike Kanellis

Though first impressions of Mike Kanellis suggest that he is much more of a lover than a fighter,
he will be out to teach Sami Zayn that love conquers all when they go one-on-one at WWE Battleground tomorrow.
Since emerging at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Maria Kanellis and her husband Mike
have been all about professing the “power of love” with constant public displays of their affection.
Nevertheless, they managed to break away from each other just long enough to get offended when Sami
Zayn accidently interrupted them on two separate occasions.
After Zayn apologized not once but twice, however, he finally decided enough was enough and refused
to continue saying he was sorry. When he poked fun at the affectionate couple’s behavior, however,
The First Lady of SmackDown LIVE decided to show Zayn just how much love can hurt with a hard slap,
and Mike added the exclamation point by smashing a vase over the Superstar’s back.
After being assaulted by Maria & Mike, Zayn opted to go head-to-head against the up-and-coming Superstar
in his opponent’s debut match on the July 18 edition of SmackDown LIVE. Zayn was unable to get retribution,
however, and Mike Kanellis walked away with a victory, thanks in part to the “loving” distraction
from his better half.
After what transpired on the blue brand, the two competitors will square off in a heated rematch at WWE
Battleground, as announced by Cathy Kelley in a WWE.com Exclusive video. Don’t miss a moment of the
action, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on WWE Network.

Breezango prepare to close the case at WWE Battleground

The Fashion Police are about to close their biggest (and coldest) case.
After weeks of attempting to figure out which SmackDown LIVE Superstars trashed their offices and left
Tyler Breeze down after a sneak attack, Breezango received a break in the investigation that points
toward a resolution at WWE Battleground. Delivered alongside the mangled remnants of Fandango’s beloved
hobby horse, Tully, an ominous note seemingly called out The Fashion Police at the SmackDown LIVE-exclusive pay-per-view this Sunday.
