# Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman
At WWE Clash of Champions, Universal Champion Seth Rollins will defend his title against none other than his fellow Raw Tag Team Champion, Braun Strowman.
Although Strowman has made no secrets about his desire to win the Universal Title, champion and challenger stepped up to help each other fend off a series of three-on-one scrapes against The O.C. in recent weeks before joining forces to capture the Raw Tag Team Titles from Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. Evidentially, this development has not stopped their inevitable collision.
The Beastslayer has earned his moniker by conquering Brock Lesner, not once, but twice to become a two-time Universal Champion, but The Monster Among has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. As a former Mr. Money in the Bank, a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion, a Greatest Royal Rumble winner and an Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal victor, the fierce Strowman is a dangerous threat to the Universal Title.
Now that Rollins & Strowman have laid claim to the tag team gold, they will defend those titles and go head-to-head against each other at the Sept. 15 pay-per-view. Who will reign supreme? Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions, Sunday, Sept. 15, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

# Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
For about a year, the Women’s division has belonged to Becky Lynch — if not always in terms of championships, then undoubtedly in terms of the conversation. Any talk about who ran the roost almost always revolved around her; The Man’s star grew so fast in the wake of her reinvention that she threatened to eclipse Ronda Rousey even before Becky relieved The Baddest Woman on the Planet of the Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania. At WWE Clash of Champions, Sasha Banks’ one goal is to change all that.
For Banks, the self-styled Boss who once dominated the discourse the same way Becky currently does, 2019 was something of a lost year. Despite christening the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Bayley, Sasha openly admitted to viewing those titles — and the Fatal 4-Way Match in which they were defended at WrestleMania — as a step down from what she deserved. That perceived demotion and Becky’s eclipsing rise led Banks to go into self-exile for five months, after which she returned with blue hair, a vicious streak and one objective in mind: Reclaim the spotlight she had allowed herself to be shuffled out of for too long.
Lynch, of course, is not going to be so easily displaced: She has maintained an iron grip on the Raw Women’s Championship since WrestleMania, and her mind games tend to be much more unnerving than Sasha’s blunt braggadocio. (Becky’s current line — that Sasha is only enjoying renewed relevance because she’s coming after the champ — is a wicked one.)
But there’s always a chance she might be discounting Banks’ hunger: The Boss’ current mentality is reminiscent of Becky’s during the summer of 2018, right when she dropped the steampunk and quinoa act to take WWE by storm. Just like the idols The Man once toppled, we’ve gotten so used to the sight of Becky with a title that the idea of her without one is almost unthinkable — to her and to the WWE Universe. Only Sasha sees that possibility, the same way Becky once did when it came to Rousey and Charlotte Flair. And if she pulls it off, it’s all anybody will be talking about for a long, long time.

# WWE Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton
At WWE Clash of Champions, Kofi Kingston will be out to prove he can best The Viper once and for all when he goes one-on-one with Randy Orton in a highly personal WWE Title rematch.
Though it seemed Kingston and Orton would settle their rekindled, decade-old rivalry at SummerSlam, a double count-out only fueled Kingston, who unleashed a vicious post-match Kendo stick assault on his challenger in lieu of a satisfying match result. By way of the savage beating, Kofi made it clear that he was not the same person Orton faced 10 years earlier.
Kingston’s resolve may have come from the fact that he understood the remorseless Orton like few others, having experienced his sadistic nature several times over the years. Though Orton is a Superstar with no conscience, Kofi knows the danger of stepping into the ring the 13-time World Champion, and the WWE Champion needed to show that he will not back down no matter what. Still, while a new chapter was written at The Biggest Event of the Summer, the two Superstars were far from done with each other.
In the weeks that followed SummerSlam, Orton brought the volatile situation to new heights (or to new lows). Aligning himself with The Revival, he began to target Kofi and the rest of The New Day while spreading the message that Kingston was “stupid” and that his actions had caused his family to lose faith in him. He even instructed The Revival to attempt to break Xavier Woods’ leg while holding Kingston in place and forcing him to watch.
As a result of the growing animosity, WWE.com learned that Kingston will once against battle Orton at WWE Clash of Champions.
What will happen when these two bitter rivals attempt to tear each other to shreds during their collision for the WWE Championship? Find out at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 15, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

# Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan (No Disqualification Match)
Roman Reigns will be out for payback at WWE Clash of Champions when he goes one-on-one with the monstrous Erick Rowan in a No Disqualification Match.
This bad blood goes back to what, at first, seemed like an accident, when what was declared a forklift driver error led to lighting equipment falling and nearly crushing The Big Dog as he walked backstage for an interview. Just days later, however, Reigns was nearly taken out when a car smashed into his own vehicle.
The Big Dog set out to find the perpetrator of these heinous attacks and seemingly found an answer when Buddy Murphy said that he saw Erick Rowan at the scene. Daniel Bryan and his massive intellectual peer denied any wrongdoing, even going so far as to produce a man who bore a striking resemblance to Erick Rowan and blaming him for the attacks. However, Reigns did not buy their story, and he uncovered video footage that showed Erick Rowan pushing over the equipment on Reigns.
Bryan continues to deny any involvement, even slapping Erick Rowan repeatedly and seemingly disowning his ally while demanding an apology from Reigns for the accusations (and a monstrous Spear that leveled The Planet’s Champion). The Big Dog’s and Erick Rowan had to be separated by security at Madison Square Garden after a chaotic brawl between the two.
Will Roman Reigns get the payback he’s been looking for, or will Erick Rowan continue to inflict pain on The Big Dog? Find out at WWE Clash of Champions, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network Sunday, Sept. 15, at 7 ET/4 PT!

# SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair
At WWE Clash of Champions, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will look to take her title reign to the next level in an intriguing matchup against nine-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
Bayley and Flair each achieved huge victories at SummerSlam, as the Huggable titleholder overcame Ember Moon, and The Queen took down WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in her final match.
In the wake of The Biggest Event of the Summer, however, Flair once again set her sights on championship gold. During an episode of “A Moment of Bliss” on SmackDown LIVE, the two Superstars engaged in a war of words, as Charlotte asserted that neither WWE management nor anyone else will ever consider Bayley the face of the Women’s division, while The Hugger implied that Bayley holding the title eats away at The Queen.
Saying that it was time to restore prestige to the title, The Queen challenged the SmackDown Women’s Champion to settle the score at Clash of Champions, a challenge Bayley accepted by saying she was looking forward to shutting the nine-time champion up, before shoving her long-time nemesis off her chair and into a table on the set of Alexa Bliss’ talk show, embarassing Charlotte.

# Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
On the same night that Seth Rollins will battle Braun Strowman for the Universal Title, the Raw Tag Team Champions will join forces against the dangerous tandem of Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.
After eyeing the Universal Championship for several weeks, The Monster Among Men put those ambitions to the side to save The Beastslayer from a three-on-one assault by The O.C. on the Aug. 12 episode of Raw.
The following week, Rollins returned the favor when he came to the aid of Strowman against their mutual adversaries before proposing that they join forces to challenge Gallows & Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Titles that same night.
With automatic rematches having been abolished in WWE, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode triumphed in a wild Eight-Team Tag Team Turmoil Match to secure a championship bout. Can Rollins and Strowman co-exist when they defend their titles even though they’ll also face each other for the Universal Championship that same night?
Find out at WWE Clash of Champions, Sunday, Sept. 15, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on WWE Network.

# WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
Fire & Desire will aim to set WWE Clash of Champions ablaze when they challenge Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on Sunday, Sept. 15.
After butting heads with Bliss & Cross on SmackDown LIVE during a backstage championship photoshoot, Rose & Deville set out to put themselves in title contention by knocking off the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in a non-title matchup.
Fire & Desire attempted to wear down The Goddess & the unpredictable Cross during that bout, but Bliss seemed to have Deville right where she wanted her, vulnerable to Twisted Bliss. A scuffle between Mandy and Cross on the outside caught Alexa’s attention for a brief moment, however, giving Sonya enough time to get her knees up to counter Bliss’ aerial finishing maneuver. Fire & Desire followed up with a devastating tandem attack to score a major victory over the titleholders.
As a result of their high-stakes win, WWE.com has learned that the up-and-coming tandem of Rose & Deville will now get their golden opportunity on the night when every title in WWE will be on the line. Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions, streaming live Sunday, Sept. 15, beginning at 7 ET / 4 PT on the award-wining WWE Network.

# SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Xavier Woods vs. The Revival
At WWE Clash of Champions, The New Day’s Big E & Xavier Woods will put the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the line in a highly personal showdown against The Revival.
The Revival’s new position as quasi-running buddies of Randy Orton have put them in direct conflict with The New Day over recent weeks.
Then, on SmackDown LIVE, Dash & Dawson cast their shadow over the Power of Positivity in a big way when they issued a title challenge. WWE.com has since learned that The New Day will be more than happy to accept the match, as they attempt to send WWE’s self-proclaimed “Top Guys” back to the bottom of the pile.
Find out if The Revival has what it takes to conquer the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 15, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on WWE Network.

# Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Miz
The Miz is out to restore the glory of the Intercontinental Championship when he battles Shinsuke Nakamura in a match of pure retribution for the illustrious title at WWE Clash of Champions.
On the Aug. 20 edition of SmackDown LIVE, Miz became the first Superstar to feel what Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was capable of, with Sami Zayn guiding Nakamura as his spokesperson to unleash a vicious sneak attack on The A-Lister.
The following week, a determined Miz arrived on the blue brand with a challenge for WWE’s Rockstar: Defend the Intercontinental Title against him at WWE Clash of Champions so that the eight-time Intercontinental Champion could again regain the title that he believes he made prestigious.
Emerging by his lonesome, Zayn scoffed at the notion that Nakamura or the Intercontinental Title would ever need to associate with Miz to gain prestige and claimed the star of the hit reality show “Miz & Mrs.” was soft. A laser-sharp Miz darted out of the ring to “beat some respect” into Sami, but Shinsuke was on hand once again to blindside and pummel The Awesome One, laying him out for the second straight week with multiple Kinshasas, as a giddy Zayn commented on the microphone in euphoria and held Miz down for the attack.
In the wake of the carnage, the reigning Intercontinental Champion accepted the challenge on social media. But, will Miz be able to overcome not only Nakamura, but the danger that Zayn brings to The Artist? Find out at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 15, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network

# United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Cedric Alexander
Standing before Cedric Alexander is a golden opportunity and a phenomenal opponent. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion will challenge AJ Styles for the United States Title at WWE Clash of Champions, bringing a simmering rivalry to a boil and potentially making Alexander one fo the few 205 Live veterans to hold a title on Raw or SmackDown LIVE.
Honorifics aside, the match has the potential to be one of Sunday night’s most exciting contests. Alexander and Styles are nothing if not two sides of the same coin, stylistically-speaking, and the WWE Universe got a taste of what they can do on Monday night in a singles match before The O.C. broke up the action, handing Alexander a disqualification win. The former Cruiserweight Champion pinned The Phenomenal One at the conclusion of a wild 10-Man Tag Team Match later in the night, thereby setting the stage for Sunday’s clash at Clash.
Of course, this may not be as simple as Superstar vs. Superstar. Styles’ compadres in The O.C. are never far from his side; indeed, the good brothers’ unprovoked attack on Alexander last week sparked this rivalry in the first place. If anybody can overcome the odds, it’s Cedric Alexander, but it’ll take every ounce of his heart to climb to the summit.
Tune in to WWE Clash of Champions this Sunday, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network to see who emerges as United States Champion.

# WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Lince Dorado
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak considers himself the law of WWE 205 Live, but at WWE Clash of Champions, he will test the rules of nature against the high-flying acrobatics of Humberto Carrillo and Lince Dorado in a Triple Threat Match.
Gulak and Carrillo are no stranger to one another. Early in his tenure in the Cruiserweight division, Carrillo found himself under the tutelage of The Philadelphia Stretcher, who hoped to teach the Mexican Superstar a more ground-based attack. After a falling out, Carrillo defeated Gulak in singles competition, though that was before Gulak’s outlook changed and he became the dominant champion his is today.
After an impressive showing in the Captain’s Challenge 10-Man Tag Team Elimination Match – specifically against his cousin Angel Garza – Carrillo stood victorious, claiming the win as the only member of his team left standing besides Oney Lorcan. While Lorcan hoped his team’s success would grant him another Cruiserweight Championship opportunity, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick felt Carrillo’s performance warranted a greater opportunity.
As a result, Lorcan and Carrillo squared off on WWE 205 Live in a thrilling contest that saw Carrillo claim his first chance to compete for the championship. However, after defeating Lorcan, Carrillo was confronted by Lince Dorado – who has not bought into the hype surrounding the Mexican Superstar. The Golden Lynx believed that if he were given the same opportunities as Carrillo, then he would be facing Gulak. As a result, Carrillo challenge Dorado to a match, and Maverick added the stipulation that if Dorado won, he would be added to the match at WWE Clash of Champions.
Following a fast-paced and high-flying contest, Dorado emerged victorious, earning a title opportunity.
Will Gulak remain the law of WWE 205 Live and turn back Carrillo and Dorado, who seem preoccupied with one another, or will a new WWE Cruiserweight Champion be crowned?
