WWE Fastlane 2019 Full Match Card Info

# WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens
“The New” Daniel Bryan has a new opponent.
His name, unfortunately for Bryan, is Kevin Owens, and the circumstances of how he took the place of Bryan’s original challenger Kofi Kingston proved to be somewhat surprising for all involved, including the WWE Universe and The Dreadlocked Dynamo.
Just when Kofi was about to finally sign his contract and take his destiny in full view of The New Day, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Bryan, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon suddenly appeared and replaced the 11-year veteran with KO, citing his opinion that the former Universal Champion who has been out of action with a double knee injury was “more deserving” and “more qualified.”
That’s a bitter pill to swallow for Kingston, who was named the challenger by Shane following an hour-long performance in a Gauntlet Match, a second-place finish in the Elimination Chamber and a pinfall victory over Bryan in a Six-Man Tag Team Match

# Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (If Becky wins, she gets added to Raw Women’s Title Match at WrestleMania)
Once again, The Man has come around, ready to defy the establishment when she battles longtime adversary Charlotte Flair with huge WrestleMania implications.
Originally slated to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for the illustrious title after winning the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Lynch was subsequently suspended by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon and replaced by Flair after she attacked both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H over her refusal to be checked out by medical personal for a potential injury.
Following The Man’s arrest on Raw last Monday for violating her suspension numerous times and attacking everyone in sight, Rousey urged Stephanie to allow Lynch to challenge for the title at WrestleMania. The Chief Brand Officer then reiterated that Lynch would not compete at The Show of Shows, and that The Baddest Woman on the Planet would defend her title against SmackDown LIVE’s Charlotte Flair as scheduled.
Given the McMahon family’s refusal to budge on the Lynch situation, Rousey laid the Raw Women’s Title down in front of Stephanie and left it there, leaving many to wonder if she would carry the championship to WrestleMania at all.
In light of Rousey’s actions, it was determined that she had, in fact, vacated the title. In the wake of that news, it was also announced that Becky had been reinstated and would face Charlotte to crown a new Raw Women’s Champion. However, before Raw ended, Rousey appeared before the WWE Universe and made it clear she never vacated the title, unleashing a war of words on all parties involved.
As a result, Becky Lynch will still battle Charlotte Flair at WWE Fastlane this Sunday, but not for the Raw Women’s Title. Instead, if Lynch wins, she will be added to the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Rousey and Flair at WrestleMania 35.

# The Shield vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley
It’s the reunification you never thought you’d see again.
The Shield will once again unite when they go to war against Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley at WWE Fastlane this Sunday.
It seemed as if the WWE Universe had seen the last of The Shield last October. On the very same night that Roman Reigns announced that he had to step way from the squared circle in order to fight his returning leukemia, Dean Ambrose attacked Seth Rollins moments after they had won the Raw Tag Team Championships. A subsequent rivalry between them ensued, with The Lunatic Fringe going so far as to burn his Shield gear to signal the de facto end of the faction once and for all.
All of that changed on the Feb. 25 Raw, however. In an emotional moment that brought the WWE Universe to its collective feet, The Big Dog returned to his yard. Later that night, Reigns joined Rollins in saving Ambrose from a 4-on-1 Superstar attack by McIntyre, Lashley, Corbin and Elias.
The following week, Reigns again came to the ring in an attempt to reunite The Shield for one final run. Although Rollins was willing, Ambrose, initially refused, explaining that he had his own stuff to handle. But when Corbin, McIntyre & Lashley swarmed on his brothers, The Lunatic Fringe pounced to join by their side.

# SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The Miz & Shane McMahon
Newly-crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos are out to prove, once and for all, that any idea that The Miz & Shane McMahon are “The Best Tag Team in the World” is nothing more than a “Uce-less” notion when they battle the “Co-Besties” at WWE Fastlane.
The Miz & Shane McMahon may have come together for different reasons – one for the love for his father and the other to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a Tag Team Champion. However, once they solidified their tandem, they clawed their way to the top of SmackDown’s Tag Team division by dethroning The Bar at the Royal Rumble and validated The A-Lister’s claims that they were “The Best Tag Team in the World.”
Unfortunately, that dream quickly turned into a nightmare when they charged into The Uso Penitentiary at WWE Elimination Chamber and lost the coveted titles in a thrilling match against Jimmy & Jey.
While the six-time Tag Team Champions walked out of the action-packed pay-per-view having further solidified themselves as one of the most dominant combinations in history, Miz was left devastated at the thought that he had let down Shane, his dad and everyone else. As a result, The A-Lister returned to SmackDown LIVE and asked Shane to grant them a rematch for the titles. Though Shane-O-Mac hesitated at first, he decided that The Usos’ aggression would not stand when they came calling.

# WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nia Jax & Tamina
As the first bearers of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Sasha Banks & Bayley have vowed to defend their titles against anyone on Raw, SmackDown LIVE or NXT. Their first title defense will be at WWE Fastlane, and their opponents will be the dangerous Nia Jax & Tamina.
The monumental announcement came just eight days after The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection made history by outlasting five of WWE’s best female tandems inside the Elimination Chamber to become the inaugural champions.
The following evening, Jax & Tamina interrupted the new titleholder’s celebration when they reared their heads to try to sow some old seeds of doubt and dissention (namely, that Sasha puts herself first and always loses her titles on her first defense). But Sasha & Bayley may prove to be a tougher chase together than they are apart, as they quickly knocked Jax & Tamina from the apron and stood tall.
Jax & Tamina attempted to destroy an important moment in WWE history, but the deadly tandem is hellbent on taking the titles, and they’ll get the opportunity to short-circuit Bayley & Banks’ title reign before it can even get out of the gate. Don’t miss WWE Fastlane, Sunday, March 10, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on WWE Network.

# SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Mandy Rose
Mandy Rose will get the opportunity to prove that the spotlight should always be on her when she challenges SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka at WWE Fastlane.
The Golden Goddess stunned the WWE Universe on the Feb. 19 edition of SmackDown LIVE when she not only stepped to The Empress of Tomorrow, but defeated Asuka in one-on-one competition. Of course, that came after Rose faked an eye injury to create an opening for herself.
In a WWE.com Exclusive interview announcing the match, The Golden Goddess boldly claimed that after their match, Asuka wasn’t ready for Mandy Rose. Will that be the case when the two clash for the SmackDown Women’s Championship? Find out at WWE Fastlane, Sunday, March 10, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network!

# Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival vs. Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode (Triple Threat Match)
At WWE Fastlane, The Revival will defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against not only former titleholders Chad Gable & Bobby Roode, but also the dynamic recent additions to Monday Night Raw, Aleister Black & Ricochet.
One week after debuting on Raw, NXT all-stars Ricochet & Black scored a pinfall over The Revival in a high-action, non-title contest. As a result, the up-and-coming tandem received a controversial Raw Tag Team Title Match the following week, an opportunity that some established pairings in the locker room believed they hadn’t yet earned.
Perhaps this included Roode & Gable, the team Dash & Dawson had defeated to win the titles. The former titleholders were vocally stewing on the outside the squared cirlce during the contest — perhaps over the lack of an automatic rematch clause that would give them another crack at the titles.
Roode & Gable swarmed The Revival in the middle of the match, notching a disqualification for the champions and giving the attackers a chance to assert themselves against the NXT newcomers. Their attempt to throw hands ended in disastrous fashion, however, as Black & Ricochet sent them ingloriously from the ring before posing ominously in the center of the squared circle. Whether Black & Ricochet would have definitely won the titles is a matter of pure conjecture, but the lasting image of the match left no such doubt: Much like The Revival, Roode & Gable may have picked a fight they aren’t ready for.
As a result of the controversial finish, WWE.com Exclusive video revealed that the three teams will now square off in what is sure to be a complete free-for-all.

# Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade (Kickoff Match)
The next chapter in the epic rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Andrade will be written this Sunday, when the two Superstars clash during the WWE Fastlane Kickoff.
Mysterio and Andrade wowed the WWE Universe with a series of action-packed battles earlier this year, including an absolutely thrilling 2-out-of-3 Falls Match on SmackDown LIVE. Andrade went so far as to say his main focus is ending the legend of Mysterio.
Matters remained unsettled between the two as they both tried to answer open challenges for the United States Championship. In Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way Matches for the star-spangled title, tensions were clearly high between the two rivals.
That may have worked to their detriment, as their past opponents used their fixation with each other to their advantage to walk out with the title.
This Sunday, there won’t be anyone else in the ring to distract them. Will Mysterio illustrate why he is one of the greatest, or will Andrade fulfill his promise to end the legend of The Master of the 619?

# Big E & Xavier Woods vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev (Kickoff Match)
On WWE Fastlane Kickoff, Big E & Xavier Woods look to unleash the Power of Positivity on the imposing duo of Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev.
The unlikely alliance of The King of Strong Style & The Bulgarian Brute is a very interesting combination of brutality and cunning. They forged their union in recent months out of the ashes of their respective United States Championship losses.
Yet, despite all that they clearly bring to the table, do Nakamura & Rusev have the strength to overcome two-thirds of the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history, especially considering that Big E & Woods are fueled by resentment over their cohort Kofi Kingston being replaced in Sunday’s WWE Title Match?
