WWE Greatest RoyalRumble 34 2018 Full Match Card Info

Don’t miss the historic Greatest Royal Rumble event tomorrow at noon

The Greatest Royal Rumble will feature John Cena battling Triple H, Universal Champion Brock
Lesnar against Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match, The Undertaker against Rusev in a Casket
Match and the first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match, tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT
on WWE Network, with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.

The historic first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match

It’s a contest 30 years in the making. The historic Greatest Royal Rumble will feature the
first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match, the crown jewel of a signature event taking
place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27.
In an epic free-for-all that will redefine the very notion of ring reinforcement, 50 WWE
Superstars will battle for squared-circle immortality. A grand tradition dating back to 1988,
the Royal Rumble Match begins with two participants, with a new Superstar throwing himself into
the mix after a predetermined time interval has passed. Additional competitors will continue
to emerge until number 50 has officially entered the bout. Elimination can happen at any time
during the contest and can only take place when a Superstar has been thrown over the top rope
and both of his feet hit the floor. The last Superstar left in the ring will be declared the victor.

So far, the following Superstars are confirmed for this colossal showdown:
Daniel Bryan
Braun Strowman
Kurt Angle
Shane McMahon
Chris Jericho
Mark Henry
Rey Mysterio
Elias
Kevin Owens
The Great Khali
Bobby Roode
Baron Corbin
Big E
Kofi Kingston
Xavier Woods
Apollo Crews
Shelton Benjamin
Sin Cara
Chad Gable
Goldust
Titus O’Neil
Mojo Rawley
Dolph Ziggler

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Steel Cage Match)

In a WrestleMania 34 rematch, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will go head-to-head with
Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match for the illustrious title at the Greatest Royal Rumble
event this Friday.
The highly anticipated contest will be the third singles match between two of WWE’s most
dangerous gladiators, who first collided at WrestleMania 31 in a grueling brawl that neither
man won due to Seth Rollins, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract mid-match and
captured the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Following a brutal rematch at WrestleMania 34 –
this time in a fight for the Universal Championship which Lesnar won — The Beast will once
again go head-to-head with The Big Dog inside the dreaded Steel Cage. Reigns continued to
stand defiant in the face of the dominant titleholder and has vowed to come home with the
Universal Championship, regardless of what condition he’s in after the Saudi Arabia showdown.
Though Reigns is determined to finally topple Brock inside the unforgiving steel structure
at the history-making international event, Lesnar — who hasn’t suffered a loss since 2016 —
has another opportunity to put Reigns down with the world watching and prove that WWE is,
in fact, his yard.
The Greatest Royal Rumble event will come to the WWE Universe from the King Abdullah Sports
City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Don’t miss what could be the most incredible Royal Rumble
Match in history, tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE
Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest
Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view
outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming

The Undertaker vs. Rusev (Casket Match)

In a stunning turn of events, The Undertaker will battle Rusev in a Casket Match at the
Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27.
Originally, the Casket Match was set to be between the two Superstars, but Lana asked for
The Bulgarian Brute to be removed from the grisly bout, and he was replaced with Chris
Jericho, as The Ravishing Russian expressed concern over her husband taking on The Demon
of Death Valley. And for good reason.
After all, the Casket Match undoubtedly belongs to The Undertaker, as The Deadman has
claimed victory in several of these harrowing contests, wherein a Superstar only wins
when he gets his opponent into the casket and closes the lid.
However, now it appears that Lana’s faith in the tremendous ability of her husband has
won out, and she has changed her mind. She explained, via tweet, that WWE officials have
granted her request to allow Rusev to compete against The Phenom at the Greatest
Royal Rumble event, after all.

John Cena vs. Triple H

At the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, John Cena will rekindle his legendary
rivalry against Triple H, the first time the two Superstars have faced off one-on-one since 2010.
During his storied career in WWE, Cena has won 25 championships, including a record-tying
16 World Titles. On the other side of the ring, The King of Kings has captured a total of
24 championships in WWE, including 14 World Titles. In fact, the collective championship
history between these two epic warriors is nearly enough to give each entrant in the
history-making 50-Man Royal Rumble Match one title apiece.
The rivalry between the two WWE standard-bearers has intensified with every encounter they’ve
had over the years, from their classic matchup at WrestleMania 22 to their clash at Night of
Champions 2008 to their knockdown, drag-out brawl on Raw in 2010. And even though they haven’t
battled one-on-one since, there’s no question that they’ll be ready to pick up right where
they left off at a moment’s notice.
If their shared history in the squared circle shows one thing, it’s that any contest between
John Cena and Triple H will always bring out their aggressive side. Add into the mix the
high-profile nature of a groundbreaking event like the Greatest Royal Rumble, and their
imminent showdown has the potential to be a match for the ages.
Don’t miss the next chapter in Cena and Triple H’s for in-ring dominance at the Greatest
Royal Rumble event, emanating from he King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia on tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE
Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest
Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view
outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

At the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia, WWE Champion AJ Styles will defend his
title against Shinsuke Nakamura in a WrestleMania rematch, but the circumstances surrounding
the contest will be very different than their epic showdown at The Showcase of the Immortals.
After his triumphant showing in the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble Match, the charismatic Nakamura
earned the right to a dream match against The Phenomenal One on The Grandest Stages of Them
All, but moments after Styles won the hard-fought encounter, The King of Strong Styles
suddenly struck the low blow heard round the world and forever tarnished the instant classic
that the WWE Universe had waited so long to see.
While Styles resolved himself to the explanation that Nakamura had simply shown his true
colors in the weeks that followed on SmackDown LIVE, the nefarious Artist deflected his
motivation by claiming that he didn’t speak English. Instead, he chose to let his action
do the talking for him by attacking Styles on two separate occasions, even ruining a fantasy
showdown between the reigning WWE Champion and the returning Daniel Bryan.

United States Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal

At WWE Greatest Royal Rumble, United States Champion Jeff Hardy will defend his newly won
title against the Superstar he dethroned to obtain it, Jinder Mahal.
After his United States Title win at WrestleMania 34, Mahal believed that we were now all
living in the U-S-J. He was half-right … except the “J” seemingly stood for Jeff Hardy.
When the 2018 Superstar Shake-up shockingly moved Mahal from SmackDown LIVE to Raw, he
wasn’t shy in immediately letting Raw General Manager Kurt Angle know how good he believed
himself to be. With that in mind, Angle put The Modern Day Maharaja’s skills to the test,
having him go one-on-one that same night against Hardy with the United States Title on the
line. Ultimately, the champion’s overconfidence proved to be his downfall, and the surging
Charismatic Enigma defeated Mahal to take the title.
After the contest, an outraged Mahal invoked his rematch clause for WWE Greatest Royal
Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27. Will Jeff Hardy continue his upward
momentum and retain his newly won United States Championship? Or, will The Modern Day
Maharaja rebound and reassume his quest to have the WWE Universe become one nation under Jinder?
Find out at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams
live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and
with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast
information forthcoming.

Bray Wyatt & “Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Sheamus & Cesaro Raw Tag Team Championship

At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Sheamus & Cesaro will look to battle through the
multiverse in order to regain the Raw Tag Team Championship when they go head-to-head
against the outrageous team of “Woken” Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt.
This match of destiny comes as the result of two unbelievable WrestleMania moments that
the WWE Universe is struggling to get their heads around. First, The Eater of Worlds
shocked everybody when he helped his bitter adversary win the Ander the Giant Memorial
Battle Royal during WrestleMania Kickoff. Then, Braun Strowman turned The Show of Shows
upside-down when he selected a 10-year-old named Nicholas from the audience to help him
overcome The Bar and capture the Raw Tag Team Championship.
The following night on Raw, however, The Monster Among Men announced that he and his
pint-sized teammate were relinquishing their newly captured titles due to Nicholas’ fourth
grade scheduling conflicts. This opened the door for the coalition of Wyatt & Hardy to
triumph in General Manager Kurt Angle’s impromptu Tag Team Eliminator for the right to
face Cesaro & Sheamus for the vacant titles in Saudi Arabia.
Sheamus & Cesaro have made it clear that they are the top tag team on Monday Night Raw, as
the duo’s ability to gel like few other tandems allowed them to dominate in 2017. Will
they be ready for such an unorthodox brand of opposition? Or will they simply be “deleted?!”
Find out when the Greatest Royal Rumble event airs, tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST. The event
streams live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT,
and with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast
information forthcoming.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Uso

The Usos’ long-awaited WrestleMania moment turned into a coronation for The Bludgeon Brothers.
Now, Jimmy & Jey are coming to set things straight.
The twin high-flyers will challenge Harper & Rowan at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in
Saudi Arabia in a last-ditch effort to combat The Bludgeon Brothers’ recent, unstoppable ascent
to the top of SmackDown’s Tag Team division. Harper & Rowan went from dark-horse contenders
to two-man wrecking crew in the span of a month. They went from crashing an Usos-New Day title
match and wreaking havoc at WWE Fastlane to obliterating both teams in a Triple Threat Match
at WrestleMania, earning their first reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the process.
The Usos, whose fight to finally compete at WrestleMania was well-documented, would not be so
easily cast aside, however. After defeating The New Day on SmackDown LIVE to earn the right
to challenge The Bludgeon Brothers, they go to Saudi Arabia with payback on their minds and
the hope that it will be Day One all over again when they return stateside.
Tune in to the Greatest Royal Rumble event to see which team leaves as SmackDown Tag Team
Champions tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE Network
with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble
Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the
Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming.

Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs.The Miz vs. Finn Bálor vs. Samoa Joe (Ladder Match)

Four Superstars will take competition to new heights at WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event,
where the Intercontinental Championship will be contested in a high-risk Ladder Match.
The Intercontinental Championship is one of the most prestigious prizes in sports-entertainment
, having been held by such WWE Hall of Famers as Shawn Michaels, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin,
“Macho Man” Randy Savage and Ricky “The Dragon Steamboat.” Given the title’s rich heritage,
Finn Bálor, Seth Rollins, The Miz and Samoa Joe will stop at nothing to claim the workhorse
championship on Friday, April 27, when it will dangle from the ceiling of Jeddah, Saudi
Arabia’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
The only way to win this bout is to ascend a ladder and snatch the Intercontinental Championship
out of the sky. However, with three other Superstars to contend with, that’s easier said than
done. Expect plenty of crash-and-burn moments and heartbreaking near-victories in this
steel-bending, and perhaps career-changing, encounter.
The Greatest Royal Rumble event will also play host to six other championship matches, John Cena
vs. Triple H and the first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match. The action kicks off tomorrow at 7 p.m. AST.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander vs. Kalisto

After accomplishing his dream of capturing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship on The Grandest
Stage of Them All, Cedric Alexander will face his first major challenger in former
titleholder Kalisto at the Greatest Royal Rumble event.
At WrestleMania, Alexander’s arduous journey through the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Tournament came to an epic conclusion as he defeated his friend Mustafa Ali in a fast-paced
contest to claim the illustrious title and set the tone for The Show of Shows. Despite the
defeat, Ali showed tremendous respect for his friend and reminded the new champion that he
and the other Cruiserweights are coming for the title. NXT Superstar Buddy Murphy, fresh
off an impressive showing in the groundbreaking tournament, had no intention to wait in line
, and he ruthlessly attacked the new champion during the first 205 Live after WrestleMania.
Although WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick initially planned to have Alexander
defend the title against Murphy at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, the Australian Superstar
failed to maintain his qualifying weight for the Cruiserweight division and lost his
opportunity. Nevertheless, Maverick set a new plan in motion by announcing a Gauntlet Match
to determine Alexander’s challenger.
Kalisto entered the Gauntlet Match after Drew Gulak eliminated Mustafa Ali and Tony Nese.
From there, the lucha sensation delivered the fast-paced and high-risk moves that define his
in-ring ability. With his fellow Lucha House Party members Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik
watching from the locker room, Kalisto delivered a stunning performance to best Gulak and
earn the opportunity to face Alexander in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Will Cedric Alexander vanquish his first challenger, or will Kalisto reclaim the Cruiserweight
Championship to kickstart the ultimate Lucha House Party?
