# Damian Priest to defend NXT North American Title against Dexter Lumis

* Damian Priest has turned aside all comers for his NXT North American Championship thus far, but can his reign survive The Tortured Artist’s wrath?
Priest will defend the title against Dexter Lumis tomorrow night on NXT, as announced on Twitter by NXT GM William Regal.
The Archer of Infamy has quickly established himself as a fighting champion since claiming the title in an unbelievable Five-Way Ladder Match at NXT TakeOver XXX, overcoming challenges from Johnny Gargano and Timothy Thatcher, respectively.
Lumis originally earned a spot in that Ladder Match, but wasn’t cleared to compete due to an ankle injury. The bizarre Superstar took care of Austin Theory in one-on-one action last week, looking equal parts impressive and disturbing in his return to the ring.
Will Priest hit his mark yet again, or will Lumis slither his way to championship gold?

Burch & Lorcan have yet to taste championship gold, but they’ve long been one of the black-and-gold brand’s hardest-hitting duos. Meanwhile, Strong & Fish have their sights set on an unprecedented fourth NXT Tag Team Championship for The Undisputed ERA.

# Johnny Gargano to battle Austin Theory tonight on NXT

* Johnny Gargano will look to rewrite Austin Theory’s plans for NXT’s future in a high-level clash tonight. On his way into the Capitol Wrestling Center, Theory confirmed that William Regal had the match with Gargano official.
“All Day” has repeatedly asserted that he’s the future of NXT, but he will have to defeat one of the most decorated competitors in the history of the brand. Theory made quick work of Leon Ruff last week, but then, Dexter Lumis emerged for a brutal beatdown of the brash Superstar. Johnny Wrestling will look to get back on track after falling to Damian Priest in an NXT North American Championship clash at NXT TakeOver 31.
Can Theory start creating the history he wants? Or will Gargano provide a reminder of who leads the black-and-gold brand?

# Ember Moon to sit down for exclusive interview on NXT

* Ember Moon was cut short in her first address since returning, but the NXT Universe will get to hear more from her this week in an exclusive sit-down interview.
Moon made it clear last week that she’s targeting Io Shirai and the NXT Women’s Championship. However, Rhea Ripley emerged to make it clear she wouldn’t stand idly by if Moon plans on budging her way to the front of the line.
The two former NXT Women’s Champions were able to co-exist for a victory over Dakota Kai & Raquel González, but tensions figure to persist.
