# Daniel Bryan, The Miz and King Corbin battle for the right to face “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble

* On the Dec. 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, a Triple Threat Match between Daniel Bryan, The Miz and King Corbin will determine who will challenge “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble 2020.
All three Superstars have a unique reason to challenge the monstrous titleholder. For Bryan, a potential showdown would be about retribution after he was dragged to the depths of hell by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt several weeks ago. For Miz, losing at WWE TLC left The A-Lister with an unresolved thirst to get even after his family was targeted by Wyatt. For King Corbin, it’s a simple case of what he feels he deserves after he defeated Roman Reigns in a TLC Match at the final pay-per-view of 2019.
Now that the match is set, who will emerge victorious for an opportunity at the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble? Find out at 8/7 C on Friday Night SmackDown.

# Alexa Bliss welcomes Lacey Evans in the return of “A Moment of Bliss”.

* “A Moment of Bliss” returns on Friday Night SmackDown as Lacey Evans joins host Alexa Bliss on the always controversial talk show to address her recent hostilities with Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
The rivalry between Evans and Banks hit new heights last week as The Boss taunted The Lady’s daughter with a little ringside trash talk. The interaction incensed Evans as she delivered Banks a flurry of rights that forced Bayley and Dana Brooke to enter the fray.
How far has Banks pushed Evans? What message will The Lady have for her “nasty” adversaries? Bliss digs deep in search of answers in the FOX debut of “A Moment of Bliss” on SmackDown at 8/7 C.

The final SmackDown Live in 2019 took place in Detroit Michigan and it was spectacular to watch the show. At the beginning of SDL, I had no idea what Baron Corbin tried to prove in front of Daniel Bryan but it was nice to witness Roman Reigns coming out of nowhere and cutting BC’s moment in the right time. Corbin knew immediately that he will get massive spear by Reigns so he ran away. lol Then he reported medical staff his injury, which was not really an injury, and forfeited the triple threat match, which revealed that it wasn’t his intention to give up at all for the sake of his so-called own strategies lol

Braun Strowman & The New Day vs Cesaro, Sami Zayn, & Shinsuke Nakamura – Finally, Sami Zayn was back to in-ring action. I’m looking forward to seeing his in-ring performances more often in 2020. With the assistance of Kofi Kingston, Strowman was able to deliver Nakamura powerslam to earn the victory. After the match, the New Day urged BrStr to dance on his own and Strowman responded to show his own dance, which wasn’t that bad, ending uprising popularity among the crowds 🙂 Yes, Braun is capable of performing impressive dance skills.

Carmella vs Mandy Rose – Carmella got the best out of Sonya Deville last week and did the same against Mandy Rose this week; that means Carmella beat both Fire & Desire. Sure, she has SD and MR’s number. I’m curious how the storyline can develop in consideration of 30 women Royal Rumble match in the future.

Sheamus will indeed make a strong impact once he can return in 2020. Daniel Bryan vs The Miz ended in no contest; it was all set up planned by Baron Corbin to have his security guards do the dirty work for him. But BC’s strategy backfired once DB and Miz fought back hard and went after him even in the backstage area.

Dana Brooke & Lacey Evans vs Bayley & Sasha Banks – After having a short time on the Moment of Bliss, hosted by Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, women’s tag team match went underway after Bayley and SB dragged and assaulted DB from the entrance ramp. Having offenses go back and forth, the heels took Evans out of the equation and picked on Brooke to emerge victorious. The 2-on-2 rivalry may continue to go on in 2020.

I did see Otis give Mandy Rose a large piece of white cake (that his mother made). She was supposed to taste it but wow… Dolph Ziegler appeared, tried to be on top of her mind, and squashed the cake as she was forced to watch the scene. When Otis found out the crushed cake on the floor, later on, he was very determined to find out who ruined the precious cake; I’m sure he knows it wasn’t MR. I sense DZ vs Otis to come later.

Baron Corbin vs Daniel Bryan vs The Miz – It was priceless to find out that Roman Reigns came out of nowhere again, this time, to make a fair play against Dolph Ziegler’s interference to do BC a favor. After Roman sent both BC and DZ out of ring stage, it was pretty much one one one battle between DB and Miz. After a series of punches, kicks, strikes, and submissions, DB made Miz tap out via Yeslock. So apparently, Bryan is the number one contender for Universal championship against Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble. Even though Wyatt left his message to the face, DB didn’t hesitate at all, only inspiring crowds to chant “Yes! Yes! Yes!…”

That was all I have for comment here; great shows overall in 2019; I hope SDL can continue to improve better and bring more viewers with a genuine interest in 2020.
