# The New Day welcome challenge from Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

* Following a successful title defense at WWE TLC, The New Day will face Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro in a non-title match.
In the first edition of this matchup, the Intercontinental Champion & The Swiss Cyborg answered the champions’ post-Thanksgiving open challenge, but a well-timed Trouble in Paradise carried Kofi Kingston & Big E to the victory. Can Sami Zayn’s stable put The New Day on notice, or will the champions continue their dominance?

# What’s next for Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt?

* It had been more than two weeks since the WWE Universe had last seen Daniel Bryan as he was pulled to the depths of hell by Bray Wyatt. At WWE TLC, a mix of shock and elation gave way to a cathartic release of Yes! chants throughout the Target Center after Bryan’s payback-driven return left the Universal Champion battered and befuddled.
With a new look that has many asking for his anti-aging techniques, Bryan has put the twisted titleholder on notice — and his eyeing of the Universal Championship signaled intentions of potentially presenting Wyatt another challenge.
How will Wyatt respond to Bryan’s brazen assault? Can Bryan use the Yes! movement to overcome the Universal Champion’s mind games? Catch Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 C

# Dana Brooke takes to social media to set rematch with Bayley

* Last week, Elias played matchmaker, but Dana Brooke did her own bidding this time around as she took to social media to challenge Bayley.
The SmackDown Women’s Champion accepted the social media provocations and will face Brooke in a non-title rematch. Bayley lashed back and quickly dispatched Dana Brooke after Elias’ backstage song dedication to the champion prompted the showdown.
Will history repeat itself, or can Dana Brooke make a major statement?

Here is what I would like to comment about this week’s Smackdown Live on Brooklyn, New York:

It was noticeable to see Carmella and Sonya Deville in action along with Otis-Mandy Rose storyline, which reached its peak of the food-fighting guy hugging MR with oily ham for pleasure. Sure, it was right after the Heavy Machinery surpassed the Revival in a street fight contest. Tucker may continue to back and take special care of Otis in order to maintain their rising chemistry.

After the New Day survived against Cesaro and Shisuke Nakamura, accompanied by Sami Zayn, it was just great to see Braun Strowman return. I think BS can still prove his dominance and go for major championships someday. There are millions of reasons for him to exemplify why he is still “the Monster among Men.”

It was interesting overall to find the transition from Bayley vs Dana Brooke into Sasha Banks vs Laecy Evans. LE saved DB from 2-on-1 blast from the former postmatch. For returning a favor in some way, DB backed up LE after SB intentionally disqualified the match by getting into Evans’ family disrespectfully. No wonder why Lacey was angry and upset about Banks’ actions; I would like to find out what may go through LE’s daughter’s mind.

It was nice to see the chemistry and teamwork between the Miz and Daniel Bryan, which led them to outduel Dolph Ziegler and Baron Corbin. Although Bray Wyatt scared both Miz and BD at the end of the show, I sense that the two contestants will be ready for next week’s triple threat match (BC vs DB vs Miz) to determine number one contender for Universal championship. The question has to be, who will become the next challenger for the major title?

By the way, Roman Reigns was absent; it may suggest that RR possibly took a vacation to see his family. I look forward to seeing him on the show anytime soon. It was a successful showdown from the beginning to the end. I hope the final SDL in 2019 can end in a high note next week.
